Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences became the first among the medical universities in the country to obtain a certificate of operational competence validation for its Innovation Center from the Deputy of Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidential Office.

By an order from the Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences and Health Services of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Prof. Ahmad Mohammadi-Farani, a faculty member of the university, was appointed as the editor-in-chief of the scientific-research Journal of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences (JSKUMS) for a period of two years.

The third level of the “First Comprehensive School on Techniques and Tactics for University Internationalization and Ranking Enhancement” was held over three days, hosted by Imam Reza International University in Mashhad, with the participation of representatives from 30 universities across the country.

Dr. Kiavash Fekri, a pediatric hematology and oncology superspecialist, stated that for the first time in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, two hemophilia patients were treated with the latest medication in the world, Hemlibra.

According to the latest report published by the Times Higher Education international ranking database, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences has maintained its position. For the second consecutive year, it has been ranked in the 800 to 1000 range of world universities in the "2025 World University Rankings."

The Vice-chancellor of Education of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari University of Medical Sciences announced obtaining the first rank in the country in the specialty board of pediatric medicine.
